Carving a vent figure

Este muñeco esta inspirado en Coquito, hecho por Carlos Saravia. This figure is inspired in Carlos Saravia's Coquito

Una tabla de madera de tilo de 2" x 6" x 18". A baswwod 2"2" x 6" x 18" block

Se corta en tres pedazos: Is cut in three pieces:

Después se pegarán para formar un solo bloque, pero antes... Which later will be glued as a single block, but before that...

Se perforó en el cuello la entrada de la baqueta: The neck was perforated to admit the central pole

Los tres pedazos: dos de 2"x 6"x 5 y uno de 2"x 6"x 8". The three pieces, two 2"x 6"x 5 and one 2"x 6"x 8"

Con unas gubia se talla el interior de la nuca y de la cara. With carving tools the inner recesses in face and skull are made

Se corta el cuello. The neck is cut

Se recorta el contorno de la cabeza. The outshape of the head is cut
